My name is Elyse Pelton and I am the owner of Pelton Bakes. I am a Phoenix-local, independent owned home bakery. Being in business since 2018, I pride myself on delicious, made-from-scratch baked goods that are known to make any event sweeter!
I found my passion for baking when I was a young girl. Although my mom was always a cake box user, it was always fun to mix, bake, and create! If it wasn't for my obsession with cooking and baking TV shows, I would have never fallen in love with the idea of being a chef early in life. I have always been adventorous with my life, choosing one hobby after another or one career path after another. Baking and decorating is the hobby that stuck and now it is my career. I am so glad to be doing something I love and to see the happiness my desserts bring to any event.
I graduted Glendale Community college with an associates in Organizational Management at 20 years old. I am currently working on my bachelors degree with W.P. Carey Business College (ASU), graduating the year 2021.
After completing my bachelors degree, I plan to enroll in Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts to become a licensed Pastry Chef. I plan to open many doors for myself in the business world, owning a storefront for my bakery will be the first.
